View from Site 15 - Trezona Campground Flinders Ranges

from $39.95

On one of our many Australian adventures, my husband and I took a trip through the Flinders Ranges. With it’s rugged mountainous peaks, expansive plains and tree lined gorges, the Flinders Ranges is a bushwalkers paradise. There’s a lot to love about the Flinders but what struck me most were the old River Red Gums. These edifices of nature have majestically kept watch over this ancient landscape for hundreds of years and today many of them are home to all manner of creature.

This picture was the view from our campsite in the northern Flinders Ranges - Site 15 Trezona Campground. In the afternoon we would enjoy our sunset gin and tonic and watch the sky change as the sun dipped low on the horizon and the last of the colours slowly faded away. This daily event that hasn’t changed for thousands of years. Perhaps you have camped there and witnessed this also. If not, I hope this print entices you to do so in the future.
